Put your best foot forward

The South Okanagan Women in Need Society challenges you to “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” in Penticton.

Just one more day to Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.

The annual fundraiser for the South Okanagan Women in Need Society is your chance to have some fun while raising money to support the society’s work. Every dollar raised is invested locally to help save and change lives.

The Top Team Fundraiser (minimum $1500 to qualify) will win a fun afternoon with friends, family or coworkers at the new Smugglers Smokehouse in Penticton. This afternoon will include tasters and wine for your group of 20.

The Top Individual Fundraiser (minimum of $1000 to qualify) will win an Okanagan experience complete with golfing, wine and cuisine! The sunshine is calling!

There will be many other fun prizes just for participating. Sport your favorite red shoes; heels, sandals or even work boots and you might land a prize from Loco Landing or Shoppers Drug Mart.

The walk begins on Friday, July 7 in Penticton’s Rotary Park at 4 p.m. More information is available on the SOWINS website.
