OGO Car Share Co-op has received a $6,500 grant from the Central Okanagan Foundation (COF) to offer 10 memberships to individuals and community organizations in the Okanagan Valley who have demonstrated financial need.
“These funds have been instrumental in helping us keep car sharing accessible to those who may face barriers to transportation,” said OGO spokesperson Christine Mettler.
OGO will work with the community to identify recipients, to be awarded this fall.
COF brings donors and charities together to benefit the community.
