The Lake Country IGA has made a donation of $3,025.65 to the hot lunch and breakfast programs at Oyama, Davison and Peter Green elementary schools.

Each school will receive $1,008,55.

On hand for the cheque presentation were (see photo, from left) Kevin Kothlow, owner of IGA, and store staffers Corey Kothlow and Greg Nicoll, joined by school representatives Daphne Reynolds (front, centre), Tara-Lee Krusel and Danika Berge.

The one-time donation was generated by funds from the store’s community card program.

“We know that students in schools sometimes have a tough go of it so we hope this donation can help those students who are not as fortunate,” Kevin Kothlow said.
