The District of Lake Country is looking for input on making the community more accessible.

The newly implemented Accessible BC Act means every municipality must develop an accessibility plan and create an Accessibility Engagement Group.

A previous survey from the district found that 19 per cent of respondents find they or someone in their household have challenges accessing outdoor spaces.

Residents are encouraged to complete an online survey about accessibility for the chance to win one of five gift certificates to a local business.

The survey is open until Dec. 1.
