Chris Frehlick’s George Elliott Coyotes will be seeded third heading into the B.C. AA boys volleyball finals Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 in Langley.

Elliott’s strong play over the last month carried into the valley championship over the weekend, as the Coyotes secured the Okanagan title with a 3-0 win (25-9, 25-15, 25-17) over WL Seaton in the final.

“Ben Magel, Roan McCarthy and Brandon Frechette were rock solid on service reception,” said Frehlick, the Coyotes’ head coach.

“Jesse Peters, Garrett Anderson, Tom Parrish and Brendan Moore were dominant in the front court, and Jake Kupchenko and Matt Darley quarterbacked a high level, unpredictable offense.”

GESS defeated Sa-Hali 2-0 in the opening seeding match at valleys in Vernon, then South Okanagan 25-12, 25-15, 25-18 in the semi-final.

GESS will be joined at the 16-team provincial tournament by Seaton and Sa-Hali.
