Victor Douglas Lindsay

January 3, 1934 – April 25, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend after a courageous battle of lung disease.

Vic is survived by his loving wife Cleva of 52 years of marriage, their children Todd (Lisa) Lindsay, Laurie (Dana) Hynes; grandchildren Megan, Laina Hynes and Ella Lindsay all of Calgary, AB; his sister Gwendolyn (Ozzie) Nedila of Saskatoon, SK and brother Wallace (Wanda) Lindsay of Penticton, BC. He will also be sadly missed by his nephews Mark and Tim (Lisa) Nedila of Saskatoon,SK, Darren (Trish) Lindsay of Prince George, BC, niece Susan (Javier) Sanchez of White Rock, BC, brother-in-law Tom Sinkiewicz of Chilliwack, BC and sister-in-law Norma Lindsay of Prince Albert, SK.

Born in Prince Albert, SK, Vic was predeceased by his parents Orval and Bernice, brother Ray, loving sister Doreen and nephews Cameron and Greg.

After retiring from Sears at the age of 58, Vic (Buddy) enjoyed golf and pool with his many friends at the Holiday Park as well as countless winter trips abroad with his wife Cleva and his brothers and sisters.

Vic touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
