Update: Police find woman who had been missing two weeks

Elisha Nixon-Barron is missing and police are concerned for her whereabouts.

The West Kelowna RCMP reported Monday that the 24-year-old woman reported missing was located over the weekend.

While nothing points to foul play the RCMP are still asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

Believed to be in either Kelowna or West Kelowna, 24-year-old Elisha Nixon-Barron was last seen Feb. 9.

Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey states in a release that since Nixon-Barron's disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings; however she still remains missing.

"Police are very concerned for Elisha’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long,” he said.

Description of Elisha Nixon-Barron:

  • Caucasian female;
  • 24-years-old
  • five-foot-three (160 cm);
  • black hair;
