RCMP say there's no risk after identifying Lake Country man

Police had sought public assistance after being made aware of photographs on a camera

RCMP have ruled out any wrongdoing after identifying a Lake Country man.

Early Thursday afternoon, the RCMP asked for public assistance to locate a man seen in photographs on a child's camera.

"The man has been identified and interviewed," said Const. Kris Clark, police spokesperson, Thursday night.

"Upon further investigation, it has been determined that no criminal offence took place and no children were ever at risk."

On March 26, a woman called police when she discovered what she considered inappropriate photos on a camera she had just purchased second-hand in Lake Country.
