It’s another unpleasant day for drivers on the Coquihalla. .

Mother Nature did not get the notice that spring has sprung and the most travelled road to Vancouver is once again dotted with snowy patches.

Of particular note Drive BC reports that Highway 97 C, from Peachland to Merritt, has patches of compact snow and is slippery.

The worst of it seems to be around the Pennask Summit and the Elkhart Lodge.

A little closer to Vancouver, there’s also snow and slippery patches on the summit.

Flurries are expected throughout the day and Drive BC warns that the weather is always unpredictable this time of year so it’s a good idea to check in before driving anywhere.
