The delivery of books and other materials will be impacted by labour action at Okanagan Regional Libraries from Wednesday to Saturday.

Okanagan Regional Library patrons may have to wait longer for that book they ordered.

ORL has been advised by the Canadian Union of Public Employees that van drivers will be on strike beginning Wednesday, June 6 through Saturday, June 9 inclusive.

"This means that delivery of new books, magazines and customer holds will be delayed getting to and from branches," said Marla O'Brien, ORL media relations officer.
