Residents of a senior living complex are on high alert since a fire lit their hedges ablaze Monday.
Firefighters and RCMP were called to the Spruce Landing fire around 12 p.m. April 29.
Flames and smoke could be seen coming from a significant section of the hedge next to 25th Avenue.
But crews were quick to douse the blaze.
This is not the first time a fire has been sparked in the hedges, which separate the complex from the walking path and benches which are frequented by drug users.
