The Lake Country Fire Department along with forestry crews responded to a forest fire in the Carr's Landing area Wednesday night after what's believed to be a human caused fire.
The blaze is now under control and six initial attack crews remain on the scene Thursday morning, mopping up the blaze.
The fire was initially actioned by a helicopter and four air tankers that responded to a fire above Juniper Cove Road in Lake Country yesterday.
The blaze was burning in very steep terrain.
No structures were threatened in the fire.
It was the second fire in Lake Country after a grass fire had to be actioned earlier on Wednesday.
