Several Kelowna roads are getting a refresh.

City crews will resurface 14 road segments, covering about 21 kilometres. Approximately $5 million will be spent with work expected to be completed by the end of September.

Areas chosen for 2024 include Burtch Road, Richter Street, and Bernard Avenue.

The work is designed to extend the lifespan of roads, reduce long-term maintenance costs, and provide smoother, safer rides for motorists and cyclists.

Residents are asked to obey signage and traffic safety personnel as efforts are made to minimize disruptions for road users, pedestrians, and businesses.
