On June 16, the Downtown Vernon Association hosts the Sunshine Festival which features live entertainment, activities for all ages and sidewalk sales. This event offers something for everyone and shouldn't be missed.
For added entertainment value, the Civic Sounds concert series will feature free musical entertainment in the civic plaza near the library and museum at 7 p.m. every second Thursday in July and August.
