Wednesday afternoon just the start of five days of great entertainment in Penticton

Smoke didn’t seem to slow down the Peach Bin racers as the event helped kick off the 70th annual Penticton Peach Festival. Until Aug. 13, Okanagan Lake Park and the surrounding area is going to be home to a variety of free entertainment, including the Peter Bros. Grande Parade on Saturday and the Kiddies Parade on Sunday.

Wednesday entertertainment continues this afternoon and tonight, with the Skyhawks parachute team at 5 p.m., the Snowbirds at 6 p.m. followed by a special flyby of a CF-18 Hornet.

Tonight’s headliner, starting at 9:30 p.m. is 54-40.
